La maison Borissou · Depuis 2015

Our story,
beginning in Paris.

We follow the essentials of French bread: flour, water, salt and fermentation. The same care guides us from choosing ingredients to each day’s baking.

From Paris in 2015 to Cheongdam in 2023, we have carried a simple belief in the honest value of everyday bread.

Quelques réponses

A few helpful answers

From choosing your loaf to bringing it to the table.

Have another question?
What makes your bread different?

We focus on flour, water, salt and fermentation: careful sourcing, patient dough development and daily handwork that brings out the grain’s character.

Do you use organic flour and ancient grains?

We source our primary flour from Moulins Bourgeois in France and make breads with grains including einkorn and Kamut. Ingredients vary by product; please check the description and label.

What is your approach to additives?

We value ingredients and fermentation over unnecessary additives or artificial improvers. For the complete ingredients in individual products, including preserves and sandwiches, consult the current label.

Where can I order online?

Order through our Naver SmartStore. Products currently on sale are available by subscription: subscribe on SmartStore to receive products at your chosen delivery interval. Use the shop and subscription button on a product page to view current prices and delivery terms.

Can I ask about a group order?

Please contact our Seoul bakery with the products, quantities and collection date you have in mind. The team will confirm what can be prepared.

Can I buy from the bakery?

Our Cheongdam bakery is open Monday–Saturday, 10:00–18:00 and closed on Sundays. The daily selection and quantities vary, so contact the bakery before travelling for a particular item.

How should I store bread and preserves?

Follow the instructions supplied with your product. Portioning a loaf makes it easier to store. Refrigerate preserves after opening and use a clean utensil. Sandwiches and desserts have their own storage requirements.

How can I ask about careers or training?
