From Passy, Haute-Savoie to BORISSOU PARIS

We choose our jam with the same care as our bread. We look for a clear fruit aroma, a pleasant texture, and a balance of sweetness and acidity that complements the bread. A little jam brings bread, butter, and fruit together. It is why BORISSOU PARIS brings Les Confitures de la Création directly from France.

Our collection includes mango, orange, black cherry, peach, strawberry, fig, apricot, raspberry and yellow plum. Each comes in a 500g jar, with individual flavour notes and serving ideas on its product page.

Our French Preserve House

Les Confitures de la Création

Passy, Haute-Savoie · Over 40 years of family craft

BORISSOU PARIS directly imports preserves from Les Confitures de la Création, a family-run artisan house in Passy at the heart of the French Alps. For more than 40 years, the family has made jam with ripe fruit, traditional recipes, and careful work. Instead of industrial volume, artisans cook small batches in copper pots, following recipes passed down through the family.

The preserve-making story began in 1972 with blueberry jam in the family kitchen. The experience passed between generations continues today in Passy, France.

Cooking the fruit is followed by preparing each finished jar. The workshop’s work brings a range of preserves to the table, ready to enjoy alongside bread.
Red fruit used to make preserves
Fruit is the starting point when we consider a preserve. Its aroma and acidity matter, as does the way those flavours sit alongside a piece of bread.

Fruit First, Clearly

Les Confitures de la Création offers a collection of distinct fruit flavours. Fruit content and ingredients differ by recipe and format; the label of the current product provides the specific details.

Inside each jar:

  • Selected high-quality fruit
  • No artificial colors or preservatives
  • A texture that suits each fruit
  • Family recipes, traditional copper pots, and small-batch cooking

The result is jam with plenty of fruit texture and a fresh, balanced finish.

A Cleaner Sweetness

Fruit, Sweetness and Balance

The preserves selected by BORISSOU PARIS begin with real fruit aroma rather than artificial flavor.

We look for:

  • The individual aroma and texture of each fruit
  • A balance of fruit and sweetness
  • A consistency suited to serving with bread
  • A bright, naturally tart finish

The sweetness should complement the fruit and bring balance to bread and butter.

Fig preserves by Les Confitures de la Création
Fig preserves work well on bread or beside a selection of cheeses. A spoonful at the table offers another way to enjoy a familiar jar.

Beyond Bread

From Morning Toast to the Cheese Board

These preserves are made for more than breakfast. Berry jam adds a bright note to country bread and butter. Apricot, fig, and citrus jams pair well with brioche and pastries. The sweetness and acidity of fruit also complement goat cheese and Brie. Try a spoonful with Greek yogurt or vanilla ice cream, too.

Ways to enjoy our jam:

Bread and butter: add a spoonful to sourdough, toast, or country bread.

Cheese: pair with goat cheese, Brie, or another soft cheese.

For dessert:

  • Greek yogurt
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Brioche and viennoiserie
  • Simple café-style plates

Good jam complements the food it is served with. Start by tasting small portions on a simple bread. Try raspberry and strawberry with buttered baguette, mango and peach with plain yogurt, and fig and black cherry beside cheese. Yellow plum, apricot and orange make an interesting tasting with brioche or toast.

Small-Batch Craft

Copper Pots, Family Recipes and Patience

Careful cooking preserves the flavour and texture of the fruit. At the Passy workshop, artisans cook small batches in copper pots to preserve aroma, texture, and the character of each fruit. The family has refined this method over more than 40 years. Temperature, texture, and reduction are judged by the maker, batch by batch. The aim is jam that spreads easily while retaining its fruit texture.

That attention to each batch gives the jam its flavour and balanced finish.

Why We Import It

Good fruit flavour starts with careful production. Each batch draws on more than 40 years of family experience. The method stays simple so the fruit remains the focus.

We apply the same care to the jam we serve with our bread:

  • High fruit content
  • No artificial preservatives
  • No artificial colors

Fruit, thoughtful ingredient choices and careful preparation. See the current product label for the recipe and fruit content.
